AT&T Fiber internet is affordably priced given its high quality and dependability

AT&T offers reasonable fiber pricing with first-tier fiber internet plans currently starting around $55/month.

AT&T won’t always offer you the lowest price for fiber in your area. But AT&T will offer you the low end of industry standard prices. For those prices, you’ll often get higher internet speeds from AT&T than from the competition. You will get good value for the internet speed you’re buying.

AT&T Fiber’s advantage is that their fiber connections give you equal download and upload speeds. So, even if AT&T Fiber and a cable provider offer you the same price for a speed they both call “300 Mbps,” you will not be getting the same speeds from fiber and cable providers.

All cable internet may have high download speeds, but has much slower upload speeds (usually around 10-20 Mbps). AT&T Fiber will give you the same upload speed as your download speed for your monthly price.

Having upload speed equal to your download speed can make a big difference for real-time activities such as video streaming and gaming. Fiber also offers low latency, which you’ll see in a ping test. So overall, you are getting more for your money with a fiber internet plan, even when fiber and cable plans advertise the same prices and download speeds.

There’s one drawback to AT&T’s pricing. AT&T’s copper-wired service (DSL/ IPBB) is priced at around the same as its first-tier fiber plan. This price is higher by Mbps given that copper service is much slower and less reliable than fiber. We hope AT&T will consider lowering the price of its copper service to give better value to DSL/IPBB customers.

Hello, I am trying to get internet service at my new address at the same price I had at my old address. I cannot do that. AT and T was charging me $35 a month for my internet service for the 2 and half years. Now, they are claiming they have to charge me $65 a month. When I complained, they went down to $47. f Why is there such a huge problem getting AT and T with bundle to actually save the customer money instead they are increasing the amount by a lot. They illegally installed a neighbor's line through my backyard and damaged property. Tore up my yard to bury the line, and cut my own Brightspeed line while doing so. I tried contacting them multiple times, they keep saying they'll reach out, days have gone by and they haven't. Then MetroNet had them try to fix my yard they tore and remove the cable in the back. They came out, said they removed it and installed another line to the neighbor's in my front yard and over my driveway, also put a speed bump in my driveway. They said they would remove the line in the front with the speed bump a week later. It's been 6 weeks no one's showed up despite MetroNet telling them to. They also just said they hadn't actually removed the line in the backyard which they lied about, the line in the front with the speed bump was just to make it look like they removed it. Now they send an email saying they fixed everything and they're not going to do anything else. Even though, they haven't removed the cable in the back and the cable in the front with their speed bump. They just did all of this on someone else's property to install their services to a neighbor. It's almost been two months and they've still left both cables on my property and aren't willing to fix it.

Internet went down and when calling them message said outage in my area and they were working on it no need to go further. 48 hours later, still down, same recorded message. Pushed on to tech support to find the problem in my hour was resolved 36 hours ago the problem was at my end. Had to wait another 24 to get tech out. Thier voice message still says service out in my area. My house problem turned out to be bad connection from initial set up by install tech. Looking to switch now. Maybe Starlink this time.
