Bluepeak brings ultra-fast fiber internet to overlooked cities in the central U.S.

Bluepeak started its internet service to customers in June 2022 after parent company GI Partners bought the networks previously known as Vast Broadband. Since then, Bluepeak has expanded across four states, connecting over 230,000 homes to a fiber network [1]. Bluepeak offers fiber internet, cable internet, TV service, and business phone services. The company is committed to building new fiber infrastructure to improve internet speed and reliability. Bluepeak currently serves customers in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Oklahoma, and Wyoming, with a planned expansion into Texas [2]. Ookla Speedtest ranked Bluepeak #1 in 2023 for providing the fastest upload and download speeds in a number of cities in its service area [3]. It was also recognized in 2025 as a Top 100 provider by Broadband Communities’ 2025 Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) list [4]. The company’s mission is to offer more broadband choice in overlooked cities. “We don’t believe that the size of the city should determine the size and quality of internet connections,” CEO Jeff Seidenfaden said in an interview with The Divide podcast [5]. If Bluepeak Fiber is available in your area, you will get the best possible internet connection. Fiber-optic lines are more reliable than any other internet technology. Bluepeak’s first-tier fiber internet package starts at 1 Gig, and in select areas, you can even get speeds up to 5 Gigs. Bluepeak Fiber will also give support symmetrical upload and download speeds, which will come in very handy in households that upload video or large files. Each plan comes with a free modem and an eero Whole Home Wi-Fi mesh router, though the specific model depends on your speed tier. The 1 Gig plan includes the eero 6+ router, the 2 Gig plan includes the eero 7 router with Wi-Fi 7 technology , and the 5 Gig plan includes the eero Pro 7 router.
