By our evaluation standards, this lack of simplicity in pricing hurts Xfinity’s rating despite its great initial promotional rates. In addition, Xfinity’s lower-tier plans have data caps that apply under certain conditions. The data cap is 1.2 TB (terabytes) per month, which is enough to cover many households’ monthly usage without any trouble. However, the Benton Institute for Broadband and Society analyzed data from OpenVault to show that 14.6% of homes used more than 1 terabyte per month, and 2.4% used over 2 terabytes per month [2]. This data suggests that 1 in every 7 homes would run a risk of exceeding the Xfinity data cap. Comcast/Xfinity claims that it does not throttle internet and slow it down, however, Xfinity will charge you overage fees if you exceed your data cap [3]. Hello, I am trying to get internet service at my new address at the same price I had at my old address. I cannot do that. AT and T was charging me $35 a month for my internet service for the 2 and half years. Now, they are claiming they have to charge me $65 a month. When I complained, they went down to $47. f Why is there such a huge problem getting AT and T with bundle to actually save the customer money instead they are increasing the amount by a lot. Why are they treating seniors so rudely and do not care about us as we are on a fixed income.

Even though they say with Essentials internet you get amnesty for past due bill over a year old it's a lie they disconnected my lifeline internet and said until I pay over $400(way more that what my past due bill is) then I will never have service from them again. And because of where I live is so secluded the only internet provider is xfinity and without wifi to be able to use WiFi callings I am completely shut off from any type of communications with anyone for any reason unless I drive several miles to town just to make a phone call.

I have xfinity and I’m on the essentials plan, $14.95 month it is beyond so slow, they told me I needed to upgrade I explained that I can’t afford to do that and honestly I’m not even getting the 75 mbps I should be getting I’m only getting 30-60 Mbps and they told me that themselves I think it’s pathetic that a poor person can’t even get the internet speed it says your getting
