Brightspeed keeps its business lineup simple, and the per-megabit value on fiber is competitive. As of August 2026, starting Business Fiber rates are around:
- $89.99 a month for 200 Mbps
- $109.99 a month for 500 Mbps
The higher-tier options below add prioritized traffic, a static IP, and stronger reliability guarantees:
- $199.99 a month for 1 Gig
- $219.99 a month for 2 Gig
Brightspeed also sells 5 Gig and 8 Gig fiber for higher-demand offices, but pricing for those is done by quote. The 200 or 500 Mbps plan covers the needs of most small businesses with room to spare, handling email, card processing, cloud apps, and video meetings across several users. If you move large files, back up to the cloud all day, or run many connected devices, the 1 Gig or 2 Gig plan earns its higher price and brings the reliability extras with it. One thing to note is that Brightspeed does not publish a single flat business rate. All the above prices are estimates—quotes change
by address, and whether fiber has reached your street affects both the speed and the price you see. Confirm your exact rate for your location before you sign anything. Advertised prices assume you enroll in autopay, so if you skip it, your monthly rate will increase.
Contracts and early termination
Brightspeed generally sells standard Business Fiber month-to-month without annual contracts or early termination fees. That gives you flexibility a provider like Cox does not offer on its promotional plans. However, promotional deals that give you free months or discounted rates often require a one- or two-year term, and canceling one of those early does trigger a fee. Older copper-based plans in areas without fiber may also carry a service agreement.
Add-on costs
- Business Voice+, its cloud phone system powered by RingCentral, runs $29 a month per seat.
- A static IP address costs $14.99 a month plus a one-time $75 activation fee, though some Premium Fiber plans include one at no charge.
- WiFi extenders are $5 a month each.
- Managed Biz WiFi, internet backup, and network security are quoted based on your setup.
Bundles that pair fiber with Voice+ can cut down the combined cost if you need business phone service anyway.
